Journey Guide Project

One day you might need the medical system. Or the people you love need it.

The system was built to treat you efficiently and fast.
It has no time to hear your full story. Who you are and why you are needing medical care now.

Every one of us, whatever we study or wherever we work will be in contact with the medical system at one point. Either as a patient ourselves or as a caregiver for loved ones. Sometimes it is an easy fix and the contact to the medical world is minimal but other times it might be the beginning of a long journey inside a system we don't know.

That moment arrives without a guide, without us having found our own voices and without a map helping us navigate this new chapter.
We're changing that.

The problem we are solving

The problem isn't that doctors don't care, it is a system that sees a case number where a human being stands and never taught either side how to close that gap.

  • We help patients to find their own strong unique voice. A voice which guides them sitting across doctors, talking to family and friends and navigating a life with new rules.
  • We train providers and medical students to see and listen to the full human being, not just the numbers, statistics and diagnosis.
  • We build resilience before the crisis hits and show you how to work with your nervous system, your mindset and how to be prepared.
  • We're changing the system from inside because we all have been a part of it, experienced it, worked in it, as doctors, trainers and patients.
