JGP — About
About us

Doctor. Caregiver. Patient. We have lived every side of the hospital bed.

We are four people who have spent our lives inside the health care system, as physician, as guides, as caregivers and as patients. We know what it looks like from every side, including from inside the bed. And we know what happens to people who have to navigate it alone.

“No one should have to figure out a medical crisis by themselves, in real time, while it is happening to them.”

Body · Medical Insight Guide

Greg Kutcher, MD

Family Physician · Hospice Director · ex-Health System CEO

Greg has spent decades inside the healthcare system, as a family physician, hospice director and health system CEO, and he knows how overwhelming it can be from the outside. He has seen the system from the exam room to the boardroom, and he knows where it fails people.

He is a bridge-builder, passionate about helping patients, families and providers work together more openly, honestly and effectively. With deep clinical knowledge and a gift for clear communication, Greg helps people ask better questions, navigate tough decisions and find confidence and clarity in the moments that matter. He coaches doctors and medical students to see the full human being, not just the numbers, statistics and diagnosis — changing medical care from the inside.

Kami Norland, MA, ATR

Registered Art Therapist · Harvard Medical School Mind-Body Training · ex-Federal Healthcare Admin · Educator

Kami brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and deep listening to her work with individuals navigating illness and life transitions. With a background in art therapy and mind-body medicine, her approach helps people uncover what their bodies are trying to say, and how creativity, awareness and connection can be pathways to healing.

She holds a master’s degree in art therapy, is a registered art therapist and completed advanced mind-body medicine training through Harvard Medical School. Kami builds resilience before the crisis hits, working with your nervous system, your mindset and your readiness. Not by pretending things are fine, but by working with what is.

Soul · Companion in Change

Mary Ann Boe

Community Weaver · 30+ Years · Lived Grief Experience

Mary Ann draws on decades of hard-earned wisdom, shaped by walking alongside others through life’s turning points. The experience of 14 years dedicated to caring for her medically fragile son, through his life and death, profoundly shaped her understanding of transformation, vulnerability and healing.

For more than 30 years, she has guided individuals and communities in navigating uncertainty and honoring the stories that carry us forward. She sits with people in the moments the system has no billing code for: fear, grief, decisions nobody wants to make.

Fascia · Connector

Corinna Gallion

Ex-Cancer Patient · Caregiver · Strategy & Writing

Fascia is the tissue that connects everything in the body. Corinna connects everything in this project: strategy, writing, the patient perspective, the caregiver perspective. She has been in the hospital bed as a cancer patient and beside it as a caregiver, and she knows how different those two kinds of hard are.

She helps people find their strong, unique voice to advocate with doctors, talk to family and navigate life under new rules, because she had to find her own first.
